Bloom 2020

During this time with social distancing and self-isolation, it can be very miserable for many and with Garden Centres being closed and only essential shopping it’s difficult to see how gardening can help. But gardening, can. It a healthy form of light exercise especially if you have a front or back garden, and even time on an allotment is a great outlet. Windowsills, balconies and patios offer opportunities to do a “little gardening”.

Speaking for myself my garden has never seen so much attention and I have enjoyed every minute it’s given me over the last couple of weeks. I have even managed to get supplies of compost and other essentials on line So like me why not try to do a little if you can. We are being told by many of our friends in the bloom that even community groups have been able to organise a rota so that each member can get out for an hour to undertake some garden maintenance and get some much needed fresh air, but do please keep your distance. So Bloom can go on even if it’s in a different form to normal. n sorry.

So finally stay well, keep gardening if you can and if you have entered lookout for the advice and information coming your way each week.

Also if you wish to share your activities, hints or tips we will endeavour to share with our amazing Bloom Community and post onto the website if we can.

Stay well & Safe, Best wishes
