The Trustees of South & South East in Bloom are grateful for the support from our sponsors, without whom we would not be able to function. We are a growing campaign with competitions that reach Villages, Town & Cities, Businesses as well as Gardening Communities and Parks across the six counties we cover. If you want to know more about how you can support this ” Greenest of Green” not-for-profit organisations, please contact us as we are always pleased to talk to potential sponsors and donors and discuss how we can work together for the benefit of both organisations.
Gatwick Airport is pleased to be headline sponsor for this year’s South and South East in Bloom.
We achieved the Wildlife Trusts’ Biodiversity Benchmark Award for the second year running, recognising our commitment to maintaining and enhancing the biodiversity of the airport’s 100 acre site and surrounding area. Much of our community engagement work complements this, and we gain real benefit through partnership work, supporting local groups and volunteers in improving landscape appearance and quality; and building awareness and understanding of habitat value and conservation.
Just over 45% of our UK passengers hail from the South and South East region, with around two thirds of our passengers from London and the South East, and South & South East in Bloom presents a great opportunity for us to connect with a broad community of gardeners supporting social inclusion, sustainability and conservation; and recognising horticultural achievements, environmental responsibility and community participation in an inclusive way.

Ferring Nurseries, a family run business, focuses on floral perfection. We are involved with numerous councils providing & maintaining their seasonal displays. Every effort goes into preserving horticultural excellence, training staff and achieving the highest possible standards. The partnership with SSEIB pushed us far beyond our perceived boundaries, but we have grasped the opportunity and now thrive on the constant challenges horticulture throws at us. South & South East in Bloom cannot recommend Ferring Nurseries too highly.
